HISTORY: Built as the Hotel Jefferson in time for the 1904 World's Fair, May 1, 1904 The structure was used as senior housing when it closed over a decade ago.

In June 1916, delegates to the Democratic National Convention including President Woodrow Wilson stayed in the Jefferson Hotel.

The building has operated under two other brand hotels - the Hilton and Sheraton.
